Today, millions of Americans protested and marched to say “NO KINGS!” Here in State College, over 500 people gathered for a protest while others gathered to celebrate Juneteenth and Emancipation Day.
Donald Trump has proven himself to be unfit for the presidency of the United States.
He is cruel, using the Whitehouse to attack immigrants, people who are here to build better lives for themselves in a nation long-vaunted for its civil liberties and its free markets.
He is weak, lying about and attacking political opponents instead of being a leader with integrity.
He is traitorous, attacking America’s longtime allies and cozying up to enemies.
He is foolish, choosing tariffs as a means of economic policy that will build America’s economic might when anyone with a scintilla of sense knows will accomplish the opposite.
He is duplicitous and stupid, undermining America’s energy future while saying he supports it, attacking education while saying he defends it, and claiming he’s not racist while he spends his time with white Christian nationalists.
He is un-American, disregarding the Constitution and discarding the rule of law.
Americans have a choice. You have a choice. If you believe in liberty and justice for all, then you will resist this man, his lies, and his ongoing attacks on the world’s oldest democratic republic.
We bow to no one.
